NEWS Fujitsu is considering offering a wireless data communications service to its corporate customers. The computer manufacturer said a wireless data service would increase turnover within its software and services business which is currently responsible for bringing in its highest revenues. According to a spokesman for the company, Fujitsu intends to lease a network for the service from KDDI Corporation's DDI Pocket unit to kick off the service. Fujitsu posted its biggest ever annual loss for the year ending 31 March 2002, reporting losses in excess of £2bn. The company expects to break even by the end of this financial year.
