NEWS A Singapore firm has launched an SMS service offering users the opportunity to text wedding invites to their guests. Etact Solutions charges £40 to send 100 text messages to guests' mobile phones - a service which it says removes the hassle of waiting for replies in the post. Users of the service can compile a list online of numbers they want the invite sent to and the list is then updated as and when replies are received. In case users delete the message or instantly forget about something so impersonal the service also sends out a text reminder a couple of days before the wedding.
