Mobile phones become art

The word 'why?' springs to mind...

NEWS The Design Museum in London is to unveil an exhibition which consists of 150 mobile phones floating in a tank of water. "But why?" you may ask. Apparently the installation is intended to create the effect of fish swimming in a large tank - a concept the nearby London Aquarium also managed to realise... by having fish swimming in a large tank. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to phone the sub aquatic handsets, and in doing so will spark a chain reaction which will set off all the phones - making them light up and vibrate (we take their word for it that this is what fish do).
