NEWS Are work, shopping, DIY or weekend dinner parties likely to create a sticky wicket in terms of the important things of life like the start of the England cricket team's tour of the West Indies tomorrow?
Fear not, help is at hand if you're a 3 subscriber. In what the company claims is a first, users will be bowled over by being able to get free score updates and two-minute video clips of highlights, shortly after the action takes place.
The video clips, costing 50p, will be available shortly after lunch, tea and close-of-play, which 3 reckons will be around 6pm, 9pm and 11pm GMT. Video alerts will be sent out 'shortly' after each session, as soon as highlights are available, so you need never miss another big-hitting Flintoff special.
Close-of-play alerts will be sent out the following morning.
Match footage will come from Sky Sports for those who can't watch on the big screen in their local or at home. The service will cover the Test series and all of the one-day internationals, so fans in the UK will no longer need to feel like the twelfth man.
