Photos: Apple unveils new iPods

Getting all touchy-feely...

The whole iPod range has received a refresh. The iPod Nano (pictured) has received the biggest overhaul with a completely new shape and set of features. The Nano is thinner but now has a wider screen to play video. It comes in a full metal design, a new range of colours, three games bundled in and has a 24-hour battery life for audio and five hours for video playback.

The 4GB version, which only comes in silver, will sell for $149 and the 8GB version, which comes in the full range of colours, will sell for $199 and will be available in shops almost immediately.

The traditional iPod has been renamed the iPod Classic and will now come in an 80GB and a whopping 160GB version, which can store up to 40,000 songs. But the big announcement of the night was the brand new touchscreen iPod...

    I can just see a whole new line of trendy iAccessories starting for the Touch: White cotton gloves, screen wipes, formula 1 style tear off strips...
