If you're a Nokia smart phone owner who was a little envious of WMWifiRouter, the utility that turns Windows Mobile smart phones into go-anywhere wi-fi access points, here's good news: JoikuSpot Light promises the same capability for Symbian-based handsets.

What's the mobile world got in store for 2008? 
The software - in beta form - should work with any device that runs the Symbian S60v3 operating system, including the Nokia E90 and N95. Your model must also support 3G and wi-fi.
You can download JoikuSpot Light from the developer's site or install it directly to your phone via SMS. The wi-fi hotspot should then be suitable for driving any Windows notebook. The PDF manual has more information on what systems it supports.
