The latest in our weekly look back through the classic stories of the last decade in the silicon.com archive is a peek inside the lost property depot of Transport for London to see where all the iPods, BlackBerrys and mobile phones left by commuters end up.
Around 15,000 mobile phones and PDAs such as the BlackBerry are handed in each year after being left on tube trains and buses around the capital.
