Lenovo is to enter the netbook race with the launch of new IdeaPad S9 and S10.
Available from early October the S9 will retail for £279 and the S10 for £319.
The models allow users to surf the internet, check and write emails, listen to music and run basic applications. They are designed to complement a primary PC or be used as a first-time PC. With this launch, Lenovo is aiming to establish itself in the burgeoning netbook market which IDC forecasts will see shipments of netbooks reach 9.2 million by 2012.
