What is it:
Touchscreen Windows Mobile phone
Typical price:
£520
We like:
HSDPA (7.2Mbps); wi-fi; GPS; large screen
We don't like:
No built-in 3.5mm headphone jack; camera isn't as sharp as we expected
The judgement:
Samsung continues to pump out handsets like there's no tomorrow - sometimes they're good and sometimes not so good. The Samsung Omnia is a good one and while it isn't as responsive as the iPhone in some ways, it's a competent Windows Mobile phone that offers Microsoft functionality not found on Apple's device.
