Royalty came ringing for mobile phone giant Vodafone today when the Queen toured its global HQ.
Hot on the heels of their tour of the Google's London HQ Her Majesty and The Duke of Edinburgh visited the Vodafone campus at Newbury in Berkshire today.
The royal couple were met by Vodafone chairman Sir John Bond and CEO of the Vodafone Group Vittorio Colao.
Vodafone showed off its M-PESA money transfer service, the phone-to-phone money transfer service available in Kenya, Tanzania and Afghanistan.
The Duke learnt about Vodafone's research and development programmes, including its Betavine community and mobile development resource hub, the telco's development in widgets and how R&D teams work with students and teachers in research projects.
