Considering hitting the shops at the weekend? Looking for inspiration? Check out the latest in our series of gadget mini-reviews, courtesy of silicon.com's sister site CNET.co.uk, the home of technology reviews. For the full review and details, click on the link below.
What is it:
Touchscreen smartphone with 5-megapixel camera
Typical price:
£350
We like:
Incredible wealth of features; decent 5MP camera; high-quality video recording; customisable menus
We don't like:
Poor battery life; unresponsive keypad makes typing difficult; unpredictable zoom; confusing pop-up messages
The judgement:
We'd be hard pressed to name a feature that the LG Arena KM900 doesn't have. We loved having so much power in our pocket but it comes at a price. We found the Arena slow and unresponsive at times - tapping out text messages, for example, is frustrating. But, if you're a patient typist dying for a touchscreen phone that does everything the iPhone can't, the Arena could be for you
