NEWS IBM has dumped Lotus' Domino Go in favour of bundling the free Web server, Apache, with its WebSphere software. Tony Occleshaw, marketing manager at IBM, said the company had taken the decision not to develop Lotus' Domino Go as it did "not want to put a huge amount of development resources into it". Occleshaw added that the decision to opt for Apache had been a "no-brainer" as it currently dominates 49 per cent of the Web server market. IBM said it intended to phase out Domino Go over the next 12 months.
