NEWS Vignette has announced its first European customer, The Guardian. The UK newspaper company will use Vignette's Story Server to launch a series of special interest Web sites with searchable databases and interactive features. New media manager, Justin Walters, who will launch the sites this autumn, said he chose StoryServer because of its quick development cycle. Vignette launched its European subsidiary recently in London and Germany.
