In brief: Xing's Mpeg3 encoder chosen for online music distribution

NEWS Xing Technologies has signed an agreement with record company, GoodNoise, to push Mpeg3 technology as a distribution tool for music. Xing, which manufactures the XingMP3 Encoder, is to be licensed by GoodNoise to sell songs online for 99 cents per track or $8.95 (£5.60) per album.
