In brief: Tetrapol secures Swiss communications deal

NEWS Switzerland has chosen Tetrapol to provide it with a secure digital radio communications infrastructure. The £200m contract will link police to the local cantons, using end-to-end encryption. Tetrapol has already won national contracts from Slovakia to Singapore. The Swiss deal, branded as Polycom, will be financed, built and operated by SwissCom telecommunications.
