NEWS Kingston SCL has undergone a management buyout for £65m. The Scottish telecoms software supplier received £30m from venture capitalists - 3i and Royal Bank Development Capital, while the parent company, Kingston Communications, retains a 24.9 per cent share. Kingston SCL claims the financial backing will help it take advantage of a market which is currently experiencing explosive growth. It also hopes to be listed on the global public market within the next three years.
