In brief: BBC trials online audit

NEWS The BBC will audit its Web traffic using a method designed to bring more clarity to monitoring online success. The latest method can distinguish between site visits generated by people and other computer generated hits, including updates, filtering, sorting and refreshing. The Internet Advertising Bureau is expected to base future audits on the same criteria.
