NEWS Netscape's Nasdaq share price jumped dramatically yesterday following the announcement of a major ecommerce deal with Ford US. It also appointed former Oracle executive Barry Ariko as chief operating officer. The software company is expected to report solid third quarter earnings next week, which contributed to the 25 per cent rise in stock price.
