NEWS UK high-street bank NatWest has begun trials of a personalised information service. Known as Zenda, the service will provide news, sports, traffic, weather and financial reports to subscribers via telephone, fax or email. The news will be collected from sources including the AA and the Financial Times. The six-month trial will focus on helping subscribers organise daily events like remembering birthdays, but later NatWest hopes Zenda will do everything from planning a car trip to a wedding. Provisional pricing is a £5 flat rate per month.
