NEWS Commercial information provider, Dialog has released a strong half yearly report for 1998. The company, which was formed by the merger between Maid and Knight Ridder last year, claims its operating profit has increased by 400 per cent compared to the combined profits of the two former companies this time last year. The company put increases in revenue down to simplifying pricing for its services and implementing more user-friendly interfaces. The company said it has also completed all the internal reorganisation needed after the merger.
