NEWS @Home Benelux, the Dutch joint venture to provide residential Internet access, has been approved by the EC. Under the terms of the merger regulation, the creation of the company by @Home, Palet Kabelcom and Edon will not lead to a restriction in competition. The service will provide access to video on demand, live sports coverage and multi-player games. Palet Kabelcom and Edon will each own 45 per cent of the company while the remaining 10 per cent will belong to @Home.
