NEWS MCI WorldCom has signed a 25 year contract with Racal Telecom to supply the network infrastructure for its telecoms business. The deal will move MCI WorldCom a step closer to rolling out its UK network. The company will use Racal Telecom's dark fibre capacity to link networks in an area bordered by Exeter, Glasgow and London. Under the terms of the agreement, Racal Telecom will be able to access ducting already installed by MCI WorldCom for the extension of its core PTO voice network.
