NEWS Mel Gibson, Danny Glover and Brooke Shields are just a few of the celebrities auctioning their signed underwear on the Internet next month, all in the name of charity. Internet users will be able to bid online for star signed memorabilia from films, comedy shows and sitcoms. Organiser of the event, TEN97, are hailing the auction as the 'funniest on the Internet' and are planning another equally festive event for a later date entitled The Celebrity Stockings Auction. Other items up for grabs include autographed Kim Basinger scripts, a T-shirt signed by comedy trio Billy Crystal, Whoopi Goldberg and Robin Williams, and a special edition 100th episode script signed by the entire cast of Friends. The proceeds from the http://www.TEN97.com.comedy Web auction will go to the Family Assistance Program which provides job training, placement, housing and counselling to homeless families, helping them to become self-sufficient. Bidding will start on 4 December 7:00am PT and runs until 8:00pm PT 11 December.
