Sugar turns to alcohol

NEWS Hewlett-Packard (HP) is calling off its sponsorship deal with UK premiership football club, Tottenham Hotspur. From the start of next season, the north London club will turn once again to lager company Holsten for sponsorship. HP and Spurs said they are parting company amicably. Dave Griffiths, HP channel marketing manager, said the HP-Spurs relationship would be remembered for "excellent management& excellent team& excellent value for HP in achieving our business goals". However HP's four-year association with the club has seen the decline of a once stylish footballing outfit. Spurs chairman and IT entrepreneur Alan Sugar said fans would welcome Holsten's return, calling it a "lucky omen". During the company's earlier 12-year association with the club, Spurs won the FA Cup.
