NEWS Data networking company, Fibernet is adding nine Fore Systems switches to its TANet ATM (asynchronous transfer mode) UK national network. Fibernet claims the extra switches will add resilience to the network - if one switch fails, the others can automatically re-route traffic. TANet now has 43 points of presence and a total of 15 core switches across the country.
