RealNetworks unveils Web jukebox

NEWS RealNetworks has launched RealJukebox, an online system for recording and collecting music. RealJukebox is not the first MP3 player on the market, but it launches with the support of over 60 artists, some of whom have supplied the player with exclusive content. Internet companies CDNow and Amazon.com have also announced their support, along with industry old-timers, DreamWorks Records and Tower Records. RealNetworks records and plays back digital audio in all popular formats, not just MP3. A beta version is available now from http://www.real.com/products/realjukebox/index.html
