Silicon.com signs up guest columnists

NEWS Silicon.com kicks off a series of monthly guest columns tomorrow, bringing you thought-provoking analysis and opinion from across the IT world. First up is 'Transatlantic Cable' with San Francisco-based journalist, Richard Baguley. Check out Richard's forceful and controversial views on US high-tech life on Silicon.com tomorrow. We've also signed up David Taylor, former IT director of Cornhill Insurance and now president of the UK IT directors' association, Certus, to cover the key issues from a user's point of view. In his column, 'The Director's Cut', Taylor will put each month's top stories in perspective, and look at the broader implications for senior IT management. And in 'Familiar Faces', Tiggy Familiar, an entirely real PR executive, will expose the workings of that mysterious part of the IT marketing machine. Just how much do these creatures influence the way we work, rest and play? So tune in tomorrow to Transatlantic Cable on Silicon.com, to find out why US politicians are no more clued-up than their UK counterparts: Al Gore really doesn't know the score...
