TMA and CCMA begin merger talks

NEWS The Telecoms Managers Association (TMA)and the Call Centre Management Association (CCMA) have begun discussions which could result in a merger between the two organisations. TMA represents around 1,850 telecoms and IT managers, but the association states that the distinction between the two roles is becoming increasingly blurred. It argues that 50 per cent of its members have responsibilities that include call centre strategy. The CCMA would become a subsidiary of the TMA allowing the two organisations to share resources.
