NEWS BT's Manx Telecom subsidiary looks set to roll out asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL) technology as soon as November. The move would put the Isle of Man operator ahead of the rest of BT's network - which is still controversially waiting on the high-speed Internet access technology - and on a par with Kingston Communications, which provides local services in the Hull area. Like Kingston, Manx is thought to be initially aiming the service at business users.
