Cisco completes $55m Calista deal

NEWS Networking giant, Cisco, has acquired UK-based Internet company, Calista, for $55m (£34m) in stock. Calista develops technology that allows business phones designed on different standards to link together over an Internet-based infrastructure. The acquisition fits into Cisco's plan to support IP-based data, voice and video services.
