PSINet buys Hungarian ISP

NEWS PSINet has bought Hungarian ISP, Elender Informatikai, for an undisclosed sum, however European president Harry Hobbs, told Dow Jones that it plans to invest up to $25m into the service over the next year. Elender has a strong presence in the business market, as it generates 75 per cent of the ISP's revenue. PSINet's investment is expected to go into a fibre optic network to build on the current leased line and ISDN services.
