NEWS NCR has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Netscape Communications. In papers filed in a US District Court, NCR listed nine patents which had been handed over to the Ohio-based company by their inventors between 1994 to 1997. Inventions include network security and management tools. A Netscape spokeswoman claimed the lawsuit is "without merit" and said it will be fought "vigorously".
