NEWS ScottishPower has re-christened its ScottishTelecom arm, 'Thus'. Thus - which includes Demon Internet, bought by ST last year - will concentrate on datacoms, call centres and interactive services. One aim of the makeover is to lose the company's association with Scotland, and make it a pan-UK brand. Thus [http://www.let-it-be-thus.com ] has said it still plans to float, despite continued speculation it is being stalked by European and US telcos.
