Wiltshire Council departments to be linked by £300,000 network

NEWS Wiltshire County Council is using Voyager Networks to set up a £300,000 network linking 50 satellite offices and public access terminals. Voyager is setting up a Gigabit LAN at the council's headquarters and a WAN linking the 50 offices. This will connect the various council departments such as social services, education and environment. The network uses IP tunnelling to provide secure access to sensitive or private information while allowing public access.
