NEWS NatWest and Bank of Scotland have this week joined the race to get customers online after launching their respective Internet banking offerings. NatWest's free ISP services went live this week, which will also be available to customers of rival banks services. However, it will primarily be targeted at its own customers through integration with its own banking and Internet share-dealing services. Bank of Scotland launched its free ISP service in June - but has this week also gone live with an Internet bank that will run as an additional delivery channel for its customers. The Scottish bank is currently undergoing a hostile £12bn takeover bid of NatWest.
