NEWS The Arcadia Group has signed a £75m outsourcing agreement with IBM. The UK fashion retailer - which owns among others, Burton Menswear, Dorothy Perkins, Miss Selfridge and Principles - has signed a 10-year deal for support for 5,000 point-of-sale terminals in 2,000 stores. The agreement will also see it use the Internet to review and monitor its supply chain. The move is expected to save Arcadia more than £1m per year. Around 50 staff will be transferred to IBM with no redundancies expected.
