Eircom turns to LaserCom to upgrade invoices

NEWS Ireland's former state telco, Eircom, has replaced its invoicing systems to cut down on errors. The new systems, developed by LaserCom, offer customers clearer bills in a choice of Gaelic and English languages. They also introduce duplex printers, based on Pitney Bowes' StreamWeaver print stream software. LaserCom claims the systems speed up customer service because they archive all data in the same format.
