French cities get cable modem Net access

NEWS AOL France and French cable company NC Numericable are for the first time to offer cable modem Internet access to the towns surrounding Lyon. The service is the latest stage of a countrywide roll-out of high speed cable Internet access. Villeurbanne, Bron, Saint-Priest, Saint-Fons, Décines and Meyzieu are among the first towns in the Lilloise and Niçoise area to benefit from the French roll-out.
