T-Online takes stake in German auction company

NEWS T-Online, the ISP arm of Deutsche Telekom, has announced plans to buy a stake in German online auction and trading company Atrada Internet Trading Network. The announcement was made at CeBIT conference in Hannover over the weekend, but no value on the deal has yet been disclosed. T-Online has also this week launched regional portals for ten Germany cities including Berlin, Dresden, Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Munich and Nuremberg. Residents and visitors to the cities will use the portal to get updated news and information tailored to their location via the T-Online homepage.
