Hava builds online game empire

NEWS French company Hava Interactive, a subsidiary of Vivendi, has acquired US American games company, Prize Central. Hava will merge its latest acquisition with its own online gaming venture Won.net to create Flipside.com - the second largest gaming site in the world, according to Hubert Joly, CEO of Hava Interactive. Joly claimed the site will have four million users in 80 countries, generating 8.9 million hours of viewing time and offering more than a quarter of a million games. He added that the company is considering offering up to 50 free games. Categories will include action, strategy, simulation and gaming as well as family titles.
