NEWS The BBC has confirmed it is in talks with programme-maker and regional broadcaster Granada about a future tie-up. Systems relating to outside broadcasts, graphics and general post-production may be merged. Manchester-based Granada employs about 350 technicians, while BBC Resources in the city has about 150 staff in similar roles.
