NEWS Darome Teleconferencing has acquired Cable & Wireless' audio and video conferencing operations in a deal that could generate £3bn of business per year. Darome is a subsidiary of conferencing company Genesys, which is trying to catch-up with market share rival BT in the UK teleconferencing market. Acquiring Cable & Wireless' interest in the market will expand Genesys' customer base and bolster its video conferencing operations.
