Infonet wins global Nalco contract

NEWS Nalco Chemical Company has commissioned networking company Infonet to expand its global network. Infonet UK will install and maintain a managed intranet service for the company which manufacturers water treatment and process operates. The network will expand across 30 sites globally and incorporate one central data function at Infonet's site in Northwich, Cheshire in the UK. The company said it runs all mission critical operations including manufacturing, shipping and accounts over its supply chain and it therefore must be constantly available. Any downtime has huge implications, which is why it has chosen to fortify the network using Infonet's infrastructure.
