Powercom installs Marconi multi-service network

NEWS Danish carrier service provider, Powercom, has installed a multi-service network to handle voice and data traffic. The hardware has been provided by Marconi Communications, which will also be providing Powercom with training programmes and technical support for the day-to-day running of the network. The Powercom fibre network currently carries traffic for ISPs and private networks. It will be deploying Marconi's ASX ATM range of backbone switches to increase capacity.
