Heavy users make ISP stagger for breath

NEWS Internet Service Provider, Breathe.com has told over 500 of its heaviest users that they will no longer be able to use its free service, because the network can't cope. Breathe.com, which launched in April, sent out an email to the users in which it said it would disconnect them because their level of usage "puts our ability to supply the service at risk". The customers were instead offered £50 towards call charges if they switched to its local-call access service. The company is now also expected to completely revise its unmetered service, but is not the only ISP that has found unmetered access unviable. Last week LineOne said it will end its free service in September because it isn't economical, and VirginNet earlier announced it has postponed the launch of its free service.
