NEWS Virgin Net has split its business down the middle, selling its internet infrastructure and customer base to NTL for £100m, and merging its .net portal into the Virgin.com business. The move makes NTL the UK's third largest ISP (Internet Service Provider), doubling its customer base to over one million people. More to follow...
