Didata pays £200m for the rest of Chernikeeff

NEWS South African networking company Dimension Data (Didata) has announced it is buying the remaining stake in UK networking reseller Chernikeeff having initially purchased a 49.99 per cent stake in April. The widely expected purchase will cost Didata £200m. Didata bought its initial share in Chernikeeff in April for £100m and the move represented its first major entry into the UK market. Chernikeeff is best known as a main UK Reseller for network hardware vendor, Cisco Systems. Didata recently listed on the London Stock Exchange and is valued at in excess of £6.5bn.
