BT rolls out Openworld

NEWS UK telecoms giant, BT has rolled out its ADSL service for customers in the South East and selected metropolitan areas. Called Openworld, the service will allow internet connection at more than ten times the speed of conventional modem connections, over normal phone lines. The company was quick to respond to claims it had delayed the roll out to protect its leased line revenues, saying Openworld is one of the most aggressive rollouts in the world.
