Freeserve joins ISP share price strugglers

Freeserve is the latest ISP to suffer a huge decline in share price - it had fallen by 17 per cent to 150p by around 15:00(BST) this afternoon.

NEWS The drop in price has led to speculation that it will be forced out of the FTSE 100. Last night AOL experienced a similar drop of 17 per cent, while France's Wanadoo fell by 8 per cent and Germany's Freenet.de was down 12 per cent. The decline is being linked to a drop in advertising spending that has hit the industry.
