Ericsson raises expansion funds with Juniper sell-off

Ericsson has sold $1.5bn worth of its shares in US Juniper Networks.

NEWS Ericsson will spend the money on product development and infrastructure for 3G technologies. The mobile manufacturer will retain a 2 per cent stake in Juniper and will continue to work in conjunction with Juniper in providing support for 3G and IP backbone networks.
